Christopher Lee was born in London in 1922, the son of a British army colonel and a Contessa descended from one of Italy's most noble families. Lee was a decorated officer in the Royal Air Force during WW2, pursuing his acting ambitions after the war ended. His screen credits include numerous portrayals of Dracula, as well as Rasputin, Fu Manchu and The Mummy. He is unique in that he has portrayed not only Sherlock Holmes on the silver screen, but also Holmes' brother Mycroft ... not to mention Sir Henry Baskerville in the Sherlock Holmes mystery "The Hound of the Baskervilles."

Vincent Price was born in Missouri in 1911. The star of countless Gothic horror movie classics, he was also a renowned patron of the arts, an expert on cuisine and a respected lecturer and author. Besides starring in some of the greatest horror films of all time, he was the long-time presenter of "Mystery!" on PBS, a prolific voice-over artist and even a chart-topping recording artist - he provided the spooky narration on Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

 Having fled political persecution in Hungary, classically-trained actor Bela Lugosi found fame in the U.S. in the title role of 1931's "Dracula." He appeared in dozens of horror movies over the next two decades, ranging from the acclaimed to such fare as "Old Mother Riley Meets The Vampire." Lugosi died of a heart attack in 1956, during filming of Ed Wood's execrable "Plan 9 From Outer Space." A renowned eccentric, he was buried wearing his Dracula cape. His remaining scenes in Wood's movie were played by a much taller and younger man shielding his face with a cape!
